The Arizonan town of Page is little more than a collection of motels, strip malls and one-story houses located in the heart of the middle of nowhere. However, visitors do not flock to Page for its cultural attractions or buzzing nightlife. Rather, this small town is the gateway to one of America’s most spectacular natural wonders: the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The main draw to Glen Canyon is undoubtedly Lake Powell, which was created with the construction of the Glen Canyon Dam in 1963. This man-made lake has filled the formerly bone-dry sandstone canyons creating a startling lunar landscape of plunging rock formations, emerald blue waters and a completely undeveloped coastline with a circumference of nearly 2000 miles (3,218.69 km). In nearby Page organized tours take groups into the unspoiled interior to see the world-famous Antelope Canyon while speedboats, kayaks and paddle boards can be rented.
Located in the southwestern part of the country is one of the most beautiful handwork of mother nature herself, the antelope canyon. The Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon that sits on the soil of Navajo, Page Arizona. This piece of beauty is divided into two parts with the first being the Upper Antelope Canyon which is also called “The Crack”, and the Lower Antelope Canyon which is also known as “The Corkscrew”.

Lake Powell is undoubtedly one of the many places in the country where the beauty of nature is put on an extravagant display. It is one of the country’s most visited vacation spots as it receives nothing less than 2 million people in a year. Featuring breathtaking sights of natural water, Lake Powell is perfect for individuals, lovers, and families. Although the lake can be said to be along the border between Utah and Arizona, most of the lake is in Utah. And as a bonus for those visiting the lake, they can take a tour to see the Rainbow Bridge National Monument.
One thing that the Horseshoe bend will spoil you with is the fascinating scene that unfolds before you when you stand on the edge of its lookout points. That is why those visiting Page Arizona for whatever reasons make sure to visit the place before they leave.
As you might have suspected from its name, the Grand Canyon National Park is where you’ll find the famous Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon that we have today is a result of millions of years of relentless work of nature. The canyon has many viewpoints which include Mother Point, Desert View Watchtower, Lipan Point, architect Mary Colter’s Lookout Studio and Yavapai Observation Station. Both the sunrise and sunset are things to see from the observation points on the park while a very nice view of the Colorado river spreading down below you is something you won’t forget.
